Job Description

The company prides itself on fostering a positive work culture driven by its five key cornerstones: Quality, Integrity, Community, Profitability, and Fun. Concord emphasizes an Associate First policy, meaning employees are highly valued and provided with a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and personal development. With plans for significant expansion including 25 newly built hotel properties and numerous acquisitions, Concord offers excellent long-term career opportunities for motivated associates seeking growth within the hospitality industry.
The role of a lounge bartender at a Concord hotel is pivotal in shaping guest experiences and enhancing overall guest satisfaction. Bartenders at Concord serve as the eyes and ears of the property, interacting with guests from diverse backgrounds and ensuring their needs are met promptly and thoughtfully. This position requires a keen ability to listen and respond, as bartenders can identify guest preferences and potential requests for surprise amenities or memorable experiences, directly contributing to guest retention and positive reviews.
Bartenders are responsible for the full setup and breakdown of the bar, preparing beverages and cocktails to hotel standards, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and controlling liquor inventory. The role demands exceptional multitasking skills, attention to detail, and a warm, friendly demeanor to create an inviting atmosphere in the lounge. Bartenders must also follow all state liquor laws and hotel policies, ensuring responsible service and guest safety.
This position requires physical endurance, including the ability to stand for an entire shift and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Bartenders must communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, demonstrate professionalism, and handle complaints or issues with tact and efficiency. Additional duties may include food preparation and service, shuttle bus driving upon request, and strict adherence to safety and emergency protocols.
Concord offers competitive pay based on experience, ranging from $11.35 to $15.00 per hour. Full-time employees enjoy an impressive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, a 401K retirement program with company contributions, complimentary hotel room nights, life insurance, and various voluntary disability coverages. The company also supports employee education and training through extensive learning resources and tuition assistance programs, reinforcing its commitment to career development and lifelong learning.
Working at Concord Hotels means joining a vibrant, engaging team where your hospitality talents are recognized and nurtured. The bartender role is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy social interaction, take pride in delivering superior guest service, and look forward to growth in a dynamic and supportive organization.
