The role of Lounge Bartender at Honey Fitz is central to the hotel’s all-day lobby lounge experience. This position demands not only mastery behind the bar but also the ability to engage guests through storytelling and personalized service. In collaboration with the acclaimed mixologist Valentino Longo and ViceVersa Miami, our bartenders craft innovative cocktails that elevate the beverage program to a level recognized among North America’s finest. Whether preparing a morning coffee, an afternoon spritz, or an evening cocktail, the Lounge Bartender embodies Four Seasons’ commitment to luxury and personalized hospitality.

The ideal candidate for this role will bring at least two years of high-volume bartending experience, preferably within a luxury hotel or resort environment. They will possess extensive knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to operate point-of-sale systems such as Opera and Micros. The position requires adaptability, strong time management, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-centric setting. This full-time evening role offers a dynamic schedule including weekends and holidays, demanding flexibility and dedication.

Job Qualifications

  • At least two years of high-volume bartending experience preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
  • excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
  • extensive knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits
  • ability to upsell
  • strong time management skills including ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions
  • ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job
  • knowledge of Opera and Micros POS preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work closely with other departments

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to recipes
  • confirm guest orders including special needs or requests using the hotel’s point-of-sales system and check completed orders against original guest orders
  • service and take orders from guests seated at the bar offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item, including origin, taste, and preparation methods
  • maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, ports, Armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs, and specialty drinks
  • anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond appropriately to guest concerns and requests
  • properly and accurately close guest checks, process cash and credit card payments, and properly settle voided checks or complimentary items
