We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Lounge Bartender to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about mixology, hospitality, and providing outstanding guest service. The Lounge Bartender will be responsible for crafting and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as some light meals to hotel guests and visitors in our lounge area. This position requires attention to detail, knowledge of beverage recipes, adherence to state liquor regulations, and the ability to engage guests with warmth and professionalism. Working closely with the Food and Beverage team, the bartender will maintain cleanliness and organization within the lounge, manage stock and supplies, handle monetary transactions securely, and ensure all service operations meet our high standards. This role offers a clear career progression path within the hospitality industry, with positions such as F&B Supervisor, F&B Manager, Director of Food and Beverage, and beyond available for aspiring professionals. The ideal candidate will possess certifications in alcohol awareness and CPR, have excellent communication skills, and bring a positive energy that enhances the guest experience. Job Requirements
- High school graduate or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
- 1-year experience as a server or barback preferred but not required
- Must have good understanding of the English language
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and beverage service standards
- Certification of previous training in liquor, wine, and food service
- Certification in an alcohol awareness program
- Certification in CPR
- Ability to input and access information in the property management system/computers/point of sales system
- Previous guest/customer relations training
- Outgoing individual with ability to engage guests in conversation
- Positive energy
- Knowledgeable of the surrounding area

Job Duties
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
- Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available in the assigned outlet
- Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving
- Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies
- Always keep bank secure
- Maintain complete knowledge of P.O.S. and manual systems
- Greet guests and take their orders (food and beverage), utilizing suggestive/up-selling techniques
- Input orders into system and ensure transmission is verified by Bartender/Kitchen
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of tables, service areas and outlet itself
- Present guest checks and process payments through the Bartender/Cashier. Adhere to all cash handling and credit policies/procedures
- Clean and reset tables immediately after guests depart
- Collect and report tips at the end of assigned shift
- Use all chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and Hotel requirements
- Complete all closing reports in the P.O.S. system
- Legibly document maintenance needs on work orders and submit to Manager
