The Lounge Bartender position at Crestline Hotels & Resorts offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about the food and beverage industry. This role primarily involves taking orders, preparing, and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages along with light meals, ensuring courteous and efficient service as per the hotel’s standards. The Lounge Bartender is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the service outlet and managing stock and supplies effectively. This role requires weekend availability, especially during Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, which are the busiest shifts at the hotel. Additionally, due to the high volume of guests and game day traffic, football season availability is a strict requirement for this role.

This position offers potential career growth paths within the food and beverage department, including advancement opportunities to F&B Supervisor, F&B Manager, Director of Food and Beverage, Director of Operations, General Manager, and even Vice President of Food & Beverage. Ideal candidates will bring a positive attitude, excellent guest relations skills, and a robust understanding of drink recipes and beverage service standards. Experience working in a food and beverage environment is beneficial but not mandatory, as training and certification opportunities are provided. The role is well-suited for individuals who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced settings and enjoy engaging with guests through friendly conversations and suggestive upselling techniques. This position emphasizes compliance with state liquor laws and safety regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. Moreover, the Lounge Bartender must be proficient in using point of sale (POS) systems and managing cash handling responsibilities securely.
