Concord Hospitality Enterprises is a well-established hotel management company known for its commitment to quality service, integrity, and fostering a positive work environment. Operating numerous hotels and resorts, Concord places a strong emphasis on community, profitability, and fun, all while maintaining a culture centered on its five Cornerstones. The company prides itself on being an employer that values diversity, work-life balance, and a supportive culture through its "Associate First" philosophy. This ensures personal growth and career advancement opportunities for its employees, while maintaining a drug-free workplace and adhering strictly to equal opportunity employment practices. Their hotel bar and lounge outlets stand as vibrant social hubs offering exceptional customer service and premium hospitality experiences to guests from all over, reflecting the high standards Concord sets in every location it operates.
The position of Lounge Bar Back within Concord’s hotel bar and lounge outlets is an essential role that focuses on supporting bartenders and enhancing the overall guest experience. This role acts as both the first and last point of contact for guests in the hospitality flow, making each interaction significantly impactful. The Lounge Bar Back is responsible for maintaining smooth operations by collaborating closely with bartenders and the broader team, ensuring cleanliness, efficient restocking, and readiness of the bar at all times. The role demands a proactive, responsive, and courteous attitude, prioritizing exceptional customer service with a friendly smile and a keen attention to guest needs. Working long hours standing on feet and covering shifts during weekends and holidays is a vital part of this role, requiring reliability and stamina from applicants.
In addition to supporting service delivery by handling bar preparation and assisting with food service duties at some locations, the Lounge Bar Back plays a pivotal role in maintaining safety and sanitation standards. This includes side work assignments and assisting with both the opening and closing procedures of the bar. Successful candidates are expected to bring prior experience from busy food and beverage environments, with a preference for those who have worked in hotels before. Positions are available with at least three days per week commitment, catering to the dynamic schedules inherent in hospitality operations.
Concord Hospitality Enterprises offers competitive wages and an array of benefits for full-time associates, including comprehensive medical, dental and vision plans, life insurance, short term and long term disability options, a 401K plan, tuition assistance, discounted room rates at Concord-managed hotels, and opportunities for professional training and development. The company’s culture supports personal development both professionally and personally, encouraging employees to be part of a motivated and fun team where their contributions are valued and recognized. This role not only offers employment but a pathway to grow within an esteemed hospitality organization known for its dedication to excellence and associate well-being.
