The role of Lounge Assistant Manager is a vital position within the casino's operations. As a Lounge Assistant Manager, you will play a key part in maintaining the casino’s high standards of customer service and operational integrity. This position is responsible for overseeing customer service during shifts, ensuring accounting practices align with casino operations' standards, policies, and procedures. You will assist in planning and organizing office activities, vendor invoicing, computer data entry, and shortage controls. Moreover, the role requires setting a strong example for co-workers in professionalism, attitude, and teamwork.
The Lounge Assistant Manager must be well-versed in various managerial duties to effectively fill in for a manager when necessary. This includes payroll, inventory management, scheduling, issuing counseling reports, employee retraining, and machine repairs. Handling administrative tasks such as screening phone calls, maintaining office supplies, auditing costs and retail prices, and organizing shift reports also falls under this role's responsibilities. Furthermore, the assistant manager oversees security controls including cash funds, casino assets, and daily paperwork accuracy.
A critical part of this role is vendor management, including controlling invoices, preparing and completing liquor orders, receiving deliveries, and maintaining stock standards. Accurate pricing of liquor products according to company promotions and state regulations is essential, alongside preparing the liquor store for audits and understanding the full audit process.
The position also involves preparing bank deposits, completing computerized sales and purchase records, and ensuring overall casino safety. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required, along with the ability to be reachable by phone or pager at all times. Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- be accountable for customer service during the shift, be accountable for accounting decisions consistent with casino operations standards, policies, and procedures, assist in planning, leadership, organizing, and follow-ups in office procedures, vendor invoicing, computer data entries, and shortage controls, set the proper example for co-workers in professionalism, attitude, and teamwork in customer service and casino operations, be trained to cover manager duties such as payroll, inventories, scheduling, issuing counseling reports, retrains, and machine repairs, handle and screen phone calls, maintain an effective in-stock position of office supplies, process invoices including auditing cost and retail price, prioritize and organize follow-up on office tasks, responsible for security of casino assets, control of casino cash fund and inventories, audit shift reports, complete all casino paperwork accurately including daily reports, purchases, inventory adjustments, and payroll records, manage vendor controls and invoice handling, prepare and complete liquor orders, check-in deliveries, stock liquor store, maintain company standards, maintain accurate pricing on liquor products for promotions and regulations, balance 6-week analysis reports, prepare liquor store for audits and conduct liquor audits, prepare bank deposit subject to manager approval, complete computer entry and recording of sales and purchases in casino’s running book, ensure casino safety, fill in and handle all manager tasks in their absence, work nights, weekends, and holidays, remain reachable by phone, message phone, cell phone, or pager
