As part of the reputable Town Pump Inc., which is recognized for its excellent standards and equal employment opportunities, Montana's Best Casinos seeks a motivated and outgoing Lounge Assistant Manager to join their dynamic team. This role plays a pivotal part in upholding the casino's high standards of customer service and operational excellence. The Lounge Assistant Manager will be instrumental in managing customer service during shifts, ensuring compliance with casino policies, and assisting in the planning and execution of essential office procedures.

In this role, you will be accountable for a range of duties including overseeing vendor invoicing, computer data entries, shortage controls, and controlling casino assets such as cash funds and inventories. You will also be responsible for ensuring the security and accuracy of all operational records including daily reports, purchases, payroll, and auditing tasks. The position requires strong leadership qualities to set professional examples in teamwork, attitude, and customer service. Assistant Managers will be trained across all managerial duties, from payroll to machine repairs, preparing them to cover any management gaps effectively.

The position demands excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize office tasks efficiently. You will manage inventory pricing, prepare and complete liquor orders, conduct audits, and maintain compliance with state regulations. Handling bank deposits, monitoring sales and purchases via computer records, and ensuring the overall safety of the casino are also key responsibilities. The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with an expectation of being reachable via phone, cell phone, message phone, or pager.

Job Requirements

  • previous experience in casino or hospitality industry preferred
  • strong leadership skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • be accountable for customer service during the shift
  • make accounting decisions consistent with casino operations standards, policies, and procedures
  • assist in planning, leadership, organizing, and follow-ups in office procedures, vendor invoicing, computer data entries, and shortage controls
  • set the proper example for co-workers in professionalism, attitude, and teamwork in customer service and casino operations
  • be trained in all areas to cover managerial duties in the absence of a manager including payroll, inventories, scheduling, counseling reports, retraining, and machine repairs
  • handle and screen phone calls, maintain effective in-stock positions of office supplies, process invoices including auditing cost and retail price
  • prioritize and organize follow-up on office tasks, ensure security of casino assets, control of casino cash funds and inventories, and audit shift reports
  • complete casino paperwork accurately including daily reports, purchases, inventory adjustments, and payroll records
  • manage vendor controls and invoice handling, prepare and complete liquor orders, check-in deliveries, and stock liquor store according to company standards
  • maintain accurate pricing on liquor products for company promotions and state regulations, balance to six-week analysis reports, prepare liquor store for audits, and conduct liquor audits
  • prepare bank deposits for manager inspection and approval, complete computer entry and recording of sales and purchases in the casino's running book, and ensure casino safety
  • fill in and handle all manager tasks in the manager's absence, work nights, weekends, and holidays, and remain reachable by phone, message phone, cell phone, or pager
