Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- relevant experience in casino or hospitality operations
- proven leadership capabilities
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- proficiency in relevant computer applications
- knowledge of inventory and vendor management
- ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity
- physical ability to handle responsibilities
- availability to work non-standard hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- reliable means of communication such as phone or pager
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in casino operations or hospitality management preferred
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- excellent customer service and communication abilities
- proficiency with office software and data entry
- knowledge of inventory control and vending procedures
- ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- understanding of accounting principles related to casino operations
- ability to train and counsel staff
- familiarity with liquor laws and audit processes
- ability to maintain security and handle cash transactions
- capability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- be accountable for customer service during the shift
- make accounting decisions consistent with casino operations standards, policies, and procedures
- assist in planning, leadership, organizing, and follow-ups in office procedures, vendor invoicing, computer data entries, and shortage controls
- set the proper example for co-workers in professionalism, attitude, and teamwork
- be trained to cover all manager duties including payroll, inventories, scheduling, counseling reports, retraining, and machine repairs
- handle and screen phone calls, order and maintain office supplies, process and audit invoices
- prioritize and organize follow-up on office tasks, ensure security of casino assets, control casino cash fund and inventories, audit shift reports
- complete all casino paperwork including daily reports, purchases, inventory adjustments, and payroll records
- manage vendor controls, invoice handling, liquor orders, deliveries, and stock liquor store per company standards
- maintain accurate pricing on liquor products according to promotions and state regulations, balance to six-week analysis reports, prepare liquor store for audits, and conduct liquor audits
- prepare bank deposits for manager approval, enter and record sales and purchases, ensure casino safety
- fill in for manager during absence and work nights, weekends, and holidays
- maintain communication availability via phone or other devices
