The role of Lounge and Banquet Server/Waitstaff plays a vital part in maintaining this outstanding guest experience. This position involves supporting the Food & Beverage team by delivering courteous, efficient, and attentive service during banquet events, weddings, corporate meetings, and other special functions held at the hotel. As the banquet and event business grows, especially during peak seasons, this role is crucial for ensuring seamless event execution aligned with brand standards. Servers are responsible not only for setting up banquet and meeting spaces with precise attention to detail but also for serving food and beverages promptly and with professional etiquette.
In addition to technical service skills, this role demands a guest-focused mindset, excellent interpersonal communication, and the ability to anticipate and address guest needs effectively. Servers contribute to a welcoming atmosphere by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and quick turnover of event spaces. Job Requirements
- Previous banquet or restaurant serving experience preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal and guest service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Food Handler Certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
- Guest-focused mindset with a passion for hospitality
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
- Reliable punctual and professional in appearance and demeanor
- Team player with a positive attitude

Job Duties
- Set up banquet and meeting spaces according to event orders including tables linens glassware and décor in alignment with brand standards
- Provide warm professional and engaging service to all guests throughout each event
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner following proper service etiquette
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before during and after events
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to ensure smooth event flow
- Assist with event breakdown and proper storage of equipment and supplies
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff supervisors and fellow team members
- Follow all company policies safety procedures and health regulations
