The role of Lot Tech / Inventory Manager is a pivotal position within Performance’s dealership, focusing on the management and maintenance of the dealership’s extensive vehicle inventory. This role requires an individual who thrives on hands-on work, enjoys interacting with their team, and is comfortable being active and on the move throughout the workday. The Lot Tech / Inventory Manager will handle both new and used vehicle inventories to ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained, inspected, and ready for sale. This includes responsibilities such as washing and detailing vehicles, inspecting for any damage, organizing and replenishing the lot, and ensuring all vehicles are accurately priced and prepared for customer presentation.

Beyond the physical upkeep and organization of the inventory, this role also involves assisting with other dealership operations such as dealer trades and customer service tasks, emphasizing a flexible and team-oriented work ethic. The position demands a professional attitude aligned with the dealership’s value of positivity and energy. Job Requirements

  • maintain a positive, energetic attitude throughout the day
  • flexible schedule and able to work nights and weekends
  • has physical ability to drive and park all automobiles (automatic and standard transmission)
  • pass a drug screening to ensure a safe and winning team
  • valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Job Duties

  • maintain clean inventory by washing lot vehicles
  • inspect new and existing inventory for damage
  • maintain, organize, and reorganize inventory lot as needed
  • replenish front line vehicles as needed
  • insure all new and used vehicles are priced and ready to sell
  • assist in other duties such as dealer trades, customer service, etc. as needed
