Job Description
Ted Moore Auto Group is a well-established and Oklahoma-owned automotive group that takes pride in being locally operated with a solid reputation within the automotive retailing industry. With multiple dealership franchises and collision centers throughout Oklahoma, Ted Moore Auto Group is dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience which is embodied in what they call "The Ted Moore Difference." This core philosophy focuses on excellence in customer service, operational integrity, and community involvement, setting the company apart from its competitors in the automotive market.
Serving as a key player in the automotive retail industry, Ted Moore Auto Group not only prioritizes the needs and satisfaction of their customers but also demonstrates a deep commitment to their employees. This dual focus fosters a supportive working environment and encourages the development of motivated and driven individuals who thrive in dynamic team settings. The company is currently expanding and seeking dedicated members to join their team to uphold these standards and contribute to its continued growth.
The Porter / Lot Attendant role at Ted Moore Auto Group is a vital position that supports the overall operations of the dealership. This full-time employment opportunity includes a competitive salary and a variety of benefit packages designed to support employee well-being and work-life balance. Positions offer some work schedule flexibility and provide significant benefits such as health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as paid vacations and a 401K plan with match. Furthermore, employees enjoy conveniences like free parking, enhancing the overall employee experience.
The role of a Porter / Lot Attendant primarily involves maintaining new and used vehicle inventory by ensuring vehicles are clean, in good working order, and ready for customer presentation. This includes cleaning both the interior and exterior of the vehicles, replenishing fluids as necessary, replacing batteries, and keeping the lot neat and safe. The position requires good physical stamina and attention to detail to manage daily tasks effectively while meeting dealership standards.
Porters also play an important role in assisting the general manager by moving vehicles as requested, placing buyer guides and stock tags on vehicles, and ensuring that the dealership lot is orderly and visually appealing. Additional duties include driving vehicles between the dealership’s various service areas, clearing snow and debris to maintain safe pathways, and making key tags for vehicles. Being proactive and versatile, the Porter / Lot Attendant also performs other duties assigned to support the smooth functioning of the dealership.
This position is ideal for individuals who are motivated, physically active, and interested in automotive services but may be early in their careers or looking for an opportunity with a reputable company that values employee growth and inclusion. Ted Moore Auto Group provides a pathway for advancement and offers a supportive environment that nurtures its team. By joining Ted Moore Auto Group, employees become part of a respected Oklahoma institution with a commitment to excellence that extends beyond just vehicle sales to a holistic approach to customer and employee satisfaction.
