Camping World is a leading retailer specializing in recreational vehicles (RVs), camping gear, and outdoor lifestyle products across the United States. Renowned for providing exceptional customer service and a comprehensive selection of high-quality RVs and related accessories, Camping World continually strives to enhance the outdoor experience for enthusiasts nationwide. As a company that values growth, innovation, and community, Camping World supports a dynamic team environment where employees are encouraged to thrive and contribute to the company’s ongoing success. With a strong emphasis on teamwork and customer satisfaction, Camping World offers a rewarding work environment and a diverse range of opportunities within the RV and outdoor industry.

Camping World is currently seeking a dedicated Lot Porter to join its growing team. The Lot Porter plays a crucial role in maintaining the appearance and functionality of the vehicle lot, ensuring that all RV units are positioned correctly, clean, and ready for customers to view and purchase. This position is part of Camping World's first-class service team, responsible for delivering consistent and excellent support to help maintain the company’s reputation for outstanding customer experiences. The Lot Porter will be involved in physically handling RVs and supporting the lot's day-to-day operations through a variety of driving, maintenance, and organizational tasks.

This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $14.27 to $27.27, reflecting the candidate's skills, experience, and certifications. In addition to pay, Camping World offers a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, 401(k) plans, medical, dental, and vision coverage, and other valuable employee assistance and development programs. Part-time employees also have access to dental and vision coverage. The company promotes professional growth with tuition reimbursement and extensive on-the-job training to help employees build their careers within the organization.

As a Lot Porter, your primary responsibilities include parking and moving RV units efficiently, ensuring that window stickers are properly placed and removed as directed, maintaining lot cleanliness through weekly washing and debris pickup, and securing all vehicles and equipment from adverse weather conditions. The role also involves important safety duties such as ensuring slide-outs, jacks, steps, awnings, and doors are in the proper positions and functioning correctly. Additionally, tracking and reporting any issues with vehicles via work orders helps maintain the RV inventory in top condition for customers. This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift and move heavy items with assistance and tolerate exposure to various environmental conditions, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy active work in an outdoor setting.

Camping World is proud to be an equal employment opportunity employer. The company values diversity and inclusion and prohibits discrimination based on race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other protected classification.
