With nearly 50 locations across more than 20 states, Campers Inn RV has grown into a prominent name within the recreational vehicle industry. The company maintains a strong commitment to its family-focused roots, treating every employee and customer with fairness, respect, and genuine care. Renowned for its integrity, teamwork, continuous improvement, and sustainability, Campers Inn RV aims to lead the RV industry through forward-thinking ideas and positive change. It prides itself on being more than just a dealership; it is a team driven by purpose and innovation that helps people enjoy the RV lifestyle and find their AWAY. Having been consistently recognized as a Top 50 RV Dealership in the U.S. since 2010 and recently honored among the Top 5 Blue Ribbon RV Dealerships by RVBusiness, Campers Inn RV offers meaningful career paths, strong development opportunities, and a chance to make a real impact in the communities it serves.

The role of Lot Porter/Forklift Driver at Campers Inn RV is a safety-sensitive position pivotal to the smooth operation of the dealership’s lots. This position involves driving and towing a variety of RVs, transporting them between service bays, stores, gas stations, repair facilities, and different dealership locations. Additionally, the role requires maintaining the appearance and operational readiness of the RV lots, ensuring that both new and used vehicle lots are neat, orderly, and meet the dealership’s high display standards. The Lot Porter/Forklift Driver also conducts daily inspections and necessary cleaning of showroom and service entrance doors and keeps RV units in a sale-ready condition. Responsibilities include filling vehicles with gas, assisting with pre-delivery inspections, and maintaining the dealership premises as directed by supervisors or managers.

This role demands an individual who has pride in workmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Forklift driving experience and certification vary by location, but are preferred in candidates, as well as prior experience in the RV or automotive dealership environment. Physical capabilities such as moving RVs of various sizes safely, operating towing vehicles, and performing tasks requiring reaching, lifting, bending, and climbing ladders are fundamental. Campers Inn RV values employees who thrive in fast-paced environments and who can successfully navigate risks associated with working around machinery, tools, and RVs. This position provides ongoing career development opportunities including specialized job training, certifications, professional development, and assistance with continuing education. Full-time employees benefit from a comprehensive health and welfare plan, including major medical, dental, vision, life insurance options, employee assistance program, paid time off, and a qualified retirement plan with employer match, accompanied by fair and competitive compensation. Joining Campers Inn RV means being part of a company where your career can grow, your contributions matter and your work truly impacts the RV lifestyle community.
