This role is for a Lot Porter, a crucial position within Price Family Dealerships that supports both the Sales and Service Departments. The Lot Porter is responsible for maintaining the new and used car lots through regular non-mechanical maintenance tasks and by moving vehicles safely and efficiently. The role demands a high level of organization and attention to detail, including the management of key tags, window stickers, and assisting in vehicle transport to various dealership departments or external locations. This full-time, non-exempt position operates primarily Monday to Friday with some weekend and holiday shifts, based in Marin County, California. The pay range for this role is between $18.00 and $22.00 per hour, depending on experience. The ideal candidate is someone who can safely lift heavy weights, perform physical tasks such as kneeling and crouching, and work collaboratively as a valuable member of the dealership team. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three years of porter experience preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to safely work with team to lift and maneuver items weighing up to 100 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk or sit for long periods without resting
- Ability to perform routine kneeling, crouching or crawling
- Willingness to work full-time Monday to Friday with some weekends or holidays
- Physical capability to perform essential duties safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three years of porter experience preferred
- Valid driver's license

- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Parks vehicles in accordance with policy and under direction of Sales to ensure that the lot is attractive to potential buyers
- Assist Sales and Service Staff in moving vehicles to ensure efficient dealership operations
- Responsible for adding and maintaining key tags and window stickers on all lot vehicles
- Drives vehicles to other dealerships for 'dealer swaps' or to other vendors as requested
- May pick-up or deliver customers as requested using dealership vehicles
