Camping World is currently seeking a Lot Porter to join their expanding team. The role of the Lot Porter is vital in maintaining the operational excellence and presentation of the RV inventory on the sales lot. This full-time position revolves around providing driving and support services as part of Camping World's first-class service team. Responsibilities include the movement and parking of RV units, ensuring window pricing is accurately applied and removed, performing regular lot washes, and maintaining cleanliness and organization. The Lot Porter also writes work orders, tracks unit issues, secures units and equipment from weather, and maintains physical inventory weekly. This role requires hands-on involvement with various RV components, including operating slide-outs, using yard tractors or forklifts, and handling generators.
Applicants for this role must have a high school diploma or equivalent and prefer experience related to towing, driving RVs, and equipment operation. Physical demands include the ability to lift moderate weights with assistive devices, and the stamina for prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending. The position also involves exposure to outdoor environmental conditions such as heat, cold, humidity, dust, and noise, as well as working around electrical and welding equipment safely.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Towing experience preferred
- Ability to use yard tractor and/or forklift
- Ability to drive an RV
- Experience using generators and operating slide-outs
- Ability to repair small items and identify problem units
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
- Exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment
- Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties
- Park and move RV units in a timely fashion
- Ensures window prices on recreational vehicles are installed and removed as instructed
- Maintains weekly lot washes and ensures all units and isles are clean
- Writes work orders, tracks problems and ensures units are in proper working order
- Sweeps, picks up trash and debris, empties garbage cans, keeps lot clean and professional in appearance
- Keeps units and equipment secure from weather
- Maintains physical inventory on a weekly basis
- Ensures slide-outs are in, jacks are down, steps are down, select awnings are opened and the doors are unlocked
- Maintains a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers
