Employees in this position will regularly use handheld devices to input accurate vehicle data and report issues, requiring comfort with technology and attention to detail.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of identifying flat tires, low gas, jump starting vehicles
  • 1 year customer service experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record
  • Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission
  • Effective verbal communication and customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Organize and maintain the placement of vehicles within the designated zone or move to defined area
  • Conduct walks to identify vehicles condition as runners/non-runners
  • Oversee lot coordination to maintain the continuous flow of traffic
  • Pull and maintain the keys for any unsafe vehicles and report to management
  • Monitor traffic identifying potential traffic blockage
  • Direct drivers on vehicles assignment
  • Move running vehicles and stage them in a safe arrangement to their proper work destinations
  • Direct transporters to the proper car drop zone
  • Report transport damage as needed
  • Confirm with the transporters that all vehicles being delivered are inoperable
  • Input accurate vehicle information into handheld device using crew management reporting problems and additional notes
  • Work in cooperation with safety leadership in support of all safety activities aligned with safety excellence
  • Set an example in behavior by championing company values
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
