Job Description

Rosen Hyundai of Kenosha is a well-established automotive dealership that is part of the Rosen Automotive Group, a reputable company that has been proudly serving the residents of Illinois and Wisconsin for over 35 years. With a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, Rosen Hyundai aims to meet the needs and requirements of its customers by fostering a collaborative and respectful working environment where teamwork is paramount. This approach not only strengthens the internal culture, which feels like a family, but also ensures that customers receive service built on trust and strong relationships. The dealership operates in the dynamic and competitive automotive retail industry, focusing on providing excellent customer experiences through high-quality vehicles and exceptional service at every touchpoint.

We are currently seeking dedicated and talented individuals to join our team as Vehicle Lot Attendants. This role plays an essential part in maintaining the appearance and functionality of the new and used vehicle inventory, contributing to the overall positive image of the dealership. The position offers two shifts to accommodate different schedules, including evenings and Saturdays from 3 pm to 8 pm on four weekdays and 8 am to 6 pm on Saturdays, with one weekday and Sundays off. Alternatively, a day shift is available from 7 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a keen attention to detail, and take pride in helping maintain an attractive and organized vehicle lot.

As a Vehicle Lot Attendant, your responsibilities will encompass various tasks centered around vehicle upkeep and lot management. You will be expected to maintain both the interior and exterior of vehicles by cleaning them thoroughly and replenishing essential fluids such as oil and coolant. Additionally, you will replace batteries when necessary to ensure vehicles are ready for customers and service. Proper placement and upkeep of buyer guides and stock tags in each vehicle is also a key responsibility, helping facilitate informed purchasing decisions by customers. Keeping the lot neat and orderly according to dealership display standards is crucial, which includes moving cars as directed by the general manager.

The role also requires you to maintain the cleanliness of the dealership's driveways and sidewalks and manage the movement of vehicles between different areas, such as the service lane, service stalls, and parking lots. You will be responsible for creating key tags for vehicles and managing the vehicle inventory efficiently. This position requires flexibility, including the willingness to work weekends and handle other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the dealership. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record are essential due to the nature of the job, which involves frequent vehicle operation.

At Rosen Hyundai of Kenosha, we value a professional attitude and a customer-focused mindset, requiring all team members to embody these traits to deliver world-class service. We believe that a positive and outgoing personality, coupled with the ability to follow directions accurately, are integral to success in this role. We are committed to equal opportunity employment and prohibit discrimination or harassment of any kind, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workplace that respects and values individuals from all backgrounds and identities.
