The role of the Lot Attendant/Porter is pivotal in ensuring that the operations around the dealership's vehicle sales area run smoothly and efficiently. The Lot Attendant/Porter will be responsible for the movement and cleanliness of the vehicles on the lot, fueling vehicles for delivery, and supporting any other duties assigned to facilitate a seamless customer experience. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
  • Reliable transportation to and from work every single day

  • Ability to communicate effectively and be punctual
  • Physical capability to maintain vehicle cleanliness and move vehicles safely

Job Duties

  • Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary
  • Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles
  • Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
  • Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed
  • Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
