The Service Lot Attendant/Porter role is a critical position within the Courtesy Chevrolet team, designed to support daily dealership operations with a focus on customer satisfaction and seamless service area management. This full-time role involves managing the movement and cleanliness of vehicles within the service lot and surrounding areas, delivering finished service vehicles to customers, and providing transportation services as needed. The ideal candidate for this position is energetic and positive, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and holds a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. They play a vital role in maintaining the dealership’s high standards, ensuring vehicles are clean, fluid levels are topped up, batteries are replaced when necessary, and all inventory displays meet company guidelines.
In addition to maintaining the physical appearance and organization of the vehicle inventory, the Service Lot Attendant/Porter supports the seamless workflow between service bays and customer areas by safely and efficiently moving vehicles. This role requires excellent communication skills and a professional attitude, as the attendant may be a key point of contact during vehicle delivery and transport if customers require rides. Job Duties
- Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary
- Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles
- Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
- Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed
- Make key tags for and handle inventory of vehicles
- Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations
- Perform other duties as assigned
