This job opportunity is with a family-owned and operated retail automotive dealership known for its dedication to customer satisfaction and long-term job security for its employees. The dealership offers a dynamic work environment where individuals can begin or advance their career in the automotive retail industry, gaining exposure to various vehicle types and dealership operations. The company prides itself on providing comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k with match, paid vacation, growth opportunities, paid training, health and wellness programs, accident and critical illness insurance, HSA/flexible spending accounts, and employee discounts. This indicates a commitment to the well-being and professional development of its workforce, fostering a supportive and stable workplace culture.

The role of Lot Attendant/Porter is essential to maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the dealership's vehicle inventory. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring that both new and used vehicles are kept clean inside and out, replenishing fluids, replacing batteries when needed, and placing buyer guides and stock tags appropriately. A key part of the job is to keep the vehicle lots neat and organized by moving cars according to the general manager's instructions while adhering to the dealership’s display standards. Additionally, responsibilities include cleaning the driveway and sidewalks to maintain a welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff alike. Driving vehicles between the service lane, service stalls, and parking lot is another crucial aspect of the role, along with making key tags for vehicles.

This role is a fantastic starting point for those new to the retail automotive field who are eager to familiarize themselves with different vehicles and dealership operations. It includes varied duties aimed at vehicle care and lot management that contribute significantly to the efficiency of daily dealership operations. Attention to detail, a positive attitude, and reliable driving skills are necessary for success in this position. Candidates should expect to perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to support the team where needed.

Employment offers are contingent upon successfully passing background screens, including criminal checks, motor vehicle records reviews, and social security number verifications. This ensures that the dealership maintains a responsible and trustworthy employee base, which is vital for both customer safety and company reputation. Overall, the Lot Attendant/Porter position offers stable employment with a reputable, family-owned business that values its employees and provides multiple benefits to support both their personal and professional lives.
