The available position is for a Full Time Lot Attendant at Enterprise Car Sales located at 8080 Armour Street, San Diego, CA 92111-3720. This role is integral to maintaining the overall lot presentation and operational efficiency of the dealership’s vehicle inventory. The Lot Attendant is responsible for keeping the sales lot organized, clean, and safe, which directly influences the customer experience and perception of the dealership. The starting wage for this position is $18.95 per hour. As a full-time role, the work schedule includes a variety of shifts mostly during typical daytime business hours throughout the week and on Saturdays.

In this capacity, the Lot Attendant’s primary responsibilities include washing and cleaning vehicles, ensuring all vehicles are mechanically inspected for fluid levels and tire pressure, and conducting thorough safety checks including lights, brakes, and safety equipment. The role demands a keen eye for detail to spot any unidentified body damage or vehicle issues that could affect presentation or safety. Additionally, the Lot Attendant will help facilitate the movement of vehicles between various locations on the lot or other dealership locations within Southern California as required. Administrative support functions may also be involved to ensure accurate inventory tracking and compliance with dealership procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months of work experience
  • Must be able to conduct medium duty labor including ability to lift 50 lbs and have the ability to lift, carry, push or pull a variety of tools, equipment and materials

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • This position requires a valid driver's license

Job Duties

  • Maintain lot presentation
  • clean all exterior and interior windows and mirrors and vacuum interior, floor, seats, windows and tires
  • Inspect vehicle for unidentified body damage
  • Inspect vehicles to ensure safety equipment is in working order
  • lights, tires, brakes, wipers, horn, seat belts, mirrors and back-up lights
  • Complete daily inventory on all of the vehicles
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
  • Complete the out-of-service tag and ensure the vehicle is moved to the maintenance area
  • Perform other duties as assigned including other administrative functions
  • Drive vehicles from drop off point to display areas
  • Drive vehicles to and from various locations in Southern California as needed
