The General Maintenance role at Bass Pro Shops is essential to supporting store operations by completing work order service requests in a timely and efficient manner. This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance and managing service contractors for routine tasks such as housekeeping, landscape maintenance, and pest control. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set across multiple building trades, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and mechanical repairs. The role requires a high mechanical aptitude to handle a variety of maintenance duties that ensure the store and facilities operate smoothly and efficiently.

In addition to hands-on repairs, the General Maintenance technician will support corporate programs related to facility maintenance, energy conservation, and waste management. This includes performing building operation tune-ups to align with the company's corporate sustainability goals. Key responsibilities include electrical repairs, plumbing work, maintaining HVAC systems, mechanical repairs on equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, and facility upkeep such as painting and carpentry.
