Job Description

Bergstrom Volkswagen of Green Bay is part of Bergstrom Automotive, Wisconsin's largest automotive dealership group. Established in 1982 in Neenah, Wisconsin, Bergstrom Automotive has grown into a powerhouse in the automotive retail sector, boasting over 2,300 team members across 40 dealerships and representing 36 vehicle brands. Operating in multiple cities including Green Bay, Kaukauna, Appleton, Manitowoc, Neenah, Oshkosh, Madison, and Middleton, Bergstrom is known for delivering outstanding guest experiences and maintaining high standards of service and innovation. The company has earned notable recognitions such as Automotive News' top dealership group in Wisconsin, Glassdoor's Best Places to Work, and accolades from the Better Business Bureau and Time Magazine. In addition to their commercial success, Bergstrom is deeply committed to giving back to the community, supporting charities like Make-a-Wish, United Way, and Breast Cancer Research at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

The Lot Attendant role at Bergstrom Volkswagen of Green Bay offers a full-time opportunity with a starting pay range of $17.00 to $19.00 per hour based on experience. Scheduled Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays and a weekday off, this position plays a vital part in maintaining the dealership's high level of presentation and customer service. The role involves ensuring that all vehicles on the lot are clean, organized, and safely presented for potential guests and sales activities. Key responsibilities include washing, vacuuming, and fueling vehicles as needed, transporting cars between dealership locations or for guest deliveries, and conducting regular lot checks to secure all assets. The Lot Attendant also assists with maintaining the dealership grounds, including snow removal and landscaping, to create a welcoming and safe environment. Collaboration with sales and service teams is crucial, as the lot attendant helps move vehicles efficiently to meet operational needs.

Working outdoors and handling a variety of vehicles, including those with manual transmissions, requires a flexible, detail-oriented, and team-focused candidate. Bergstrom encourages applicants who have strong organizational and time management skills along with average to advanced computer skills, notably with Google Sheets, to apply. While a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, it is not a strict requirement for this role. This position provides an excellent opportunity to grow within a supportive and award-winning company culture, with benefits including competitive compensation, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and access to continuous training and development programs. Bergstrom Automotive’s commitment to employee wellness is demonstrated through a wellness program, free health coaching, an employee assistance program, and an on-site team member clinic. Joining Bergstrom means becoming part of a team that values integrity, excellence, career growth, and community involvement, making it an ideal fit for professionals passionate about automotive service and guest satisfaction.
