We are currently seeking a full-time Automotive Lot Attendant for our Glen Mills, PA location. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of presentation and customer experience CarShop is known for. The Lot Attendant plays a vital role in creating a positive first impression for customers by ensuring that the sales lot and vehicles are impeccably clean, well-organized, and ready for viewing. The position requires attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to maintain the aesthetics and organization of the lot.
In this role, the Automotive Lot Attendant will be responsible for the washing and internal cleaning of all vehicles on the lot, making sure every vehicle is presented in pristine condition. The Lot Attendant also manages the general cleanliness and organization of the sales lot, addressing any gaps in vehicle placement with appropriate stock to maintain an appealing arrangement. Additional responsibilities include preparing sold vehicles for customer delivery, which involves thorough cleaning and detailing, as well as ensuring vehicles are fueled by transporting them to the gas station as needed. The Lot Attendant will also be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all cleaning equipment including wash trucks and pressure washers to ensure they function efficiently at all times.
Ideal candidates will exhibit strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and problem-solving capabilities to complete their duties efficiently. The role calls for a dependable team player who communicates effectively and works collaboratively with sales and service teams to support the smooth operation of the dealership. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are essential, along with the ability to pass required pre-employment screenings such as background checks and drug testing. This position requires working safely around hazardous or flammable materials and handling heavy equipment, machinery, and motor vehicles with strict attention to safety protocols to prevent injury.

Job Requirements

- valid driver’s license
- ability to pass background checks and drug testing
- good driving history
- ability to safely handle hazardous and flammable materials
- capability to operate heavy equipment and motor vehicles
- willingness to work full-time in Glen Mills, PA

Job Duties
- wash and internally clean lot inventory vehicles to maintain pristine condition
- ensure the sales lot is clean and organized including filling vacancies in vehicle lines
- prepare sold vehicles for delivery by thorough cleaning and detailing
- drive vehicles to gas station to refuel as necessary
- maintain and service wash trucks, pressure washers, and other cleaning equipment
- communicate effectively with team members to support sales and service operations
- adhere to all safety protocols when handling hazardous materials and operating machinery
