Job Description
Our company operates a growing repossession lot located in Camden, New Jersey, where we specialize in managing and maintaining vehicle inventories for lienholders. We are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and efficiency in every aspect of our operations. Our team prides itself on creating a well-organized and secure environment where repossessed vehicles are handled with care and our clients receive respectful and professional service at all times. As part of our commitment to growth and excellence, we are expanding our workforce and seeking motivated individuals to join our team.
The Lot Attendant role at our Camden location is a full-time, day-shift position that offers a unique blend of outdoor and organizational responsibilities. Working from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, the successful candidate will play a key role in managing the daily operations of our repossession lot. This hands-on position involves the physical handling of vehicles as well as detailed administrative tasks to ensure each vehicle and piece of property is accurately documented and maintained. Starting with an annual salary of $35,000, plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus depending on skills and experience, this opportunity is ideal for those who enjoy active work environments and want to contribute to a growing company's success.
In this position, you will be responsible for processing repossessed vehicles by taking detailed photographs, completing condition reports, and conducting thorough inventories of each vehicle's property. You will prepare vehicles for transport to auction sites, following strict safety protocols and company procedures. Engaging with clients is a critical aspect of the role; you must provide calm, friendly, and professional service when clients come to redeem their vehicles or personal belongings, even in stressful situations. Accurate completion of paperwork is essential to maintain compliance with lienholders and company policies. Monitoring the lot for safety concerns or irregularities and working with your supervisor to address these issues will be part of your routine duties. Additionally, you will perform a variety of hands-on tasks supporting the lot's daily operations, often working outdoors in all weather conditions.
This is an excellent career opportunity for individuals who have a high school diploma or equivalent, relevant experience in inventory or yard management, and a strong ability to communicate effectively. Proficiency in basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and web applications is necessary, along with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Physical resilience is required due to the demands of walking, bending, lifting, and working outside. Our company fosters a supportive and dynamic work environment where employees can grow professionally while contributing meaningfully to our operational success. We encourage proactive team members who thrive in a busy, evolving market to apply and become part of our dependable team that upholds safety and customer service excellence.
