The role of Lot Attendant/Detailer at Wright Automotive Group is designed for a customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced and team-oriented setting. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the dealership's service customers by ensuring that the vehicle inventory is well-maintained and visually appealing at all times. Responsibilities include cleaning both the interior and exterior of new and used vehicles, replenishing fluids, replacing batteries when needed, and keeping the vehicle lots neat and orderly. The Lot Attendant/Detailer helps maintain the dealership's high standards for vehicle presentation, supporting sales and service efforts directly.

This role requires a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach to tasks, and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Additionally, the Lot Attendant/Detailer may be called upon to assist with various other duties such as placing buyer guides, moving vehicles following dealership display standards, cleaning driveways and sidewalks, and managing vehicle keys. Driving vehicles safely to and from service lanes and parking areas is an integral part of the job, necessitating a clear and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Job Duties

  • Maintains new- and used-vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary
  • Places buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles
  • Keeps new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
  • Cleans driveway and sidewalks
  • Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed
  • Makes key tags for vehicles
  • Performs other duties as assigned
