Job Description
OneWater Marine is a leading retail organization specializing in the sale, service, and storage of marine vehicles and equipment. As an established presence in the marine industry, OneWater Marine is dedicated to providing high-quality watercraft and exceptional customer support to boating enthusiasts and professionals alike. The company operates multiple stores nationwide, each designed to deliver an outstanding shopping experience through knowledgeable staff, a broad inventory of boats and marine equipment, and comprehensive after-sale services including maintenance and repairs.
The role of Lot Associate at OneWater Marine is pivotal to maintaining the operational excellence of each location. This position focuses on the management of the storage lot where marine vehicles and equipment such as boats and trailers are kept. The Lot Associate's primary responsibilities include ensuring that the lot is clean, organized, and safe, thereby supporting the overall customer experience and the efficiency of sales and service departments. Employees in this role contribute directly to the preparedness of units for delivery and the seamless acceptance of incoming inventory. This is a dynamic outdoor role requiring employees to safely handle vehicles, conduct regular inspections, and collaborate with team members to prioritize operational and customer needs.
Lot Associates at OneWater Marine are expected to be proactive in safety compliance, diligent about equipment organization, and attentive to customer interactions on the lot. They operate under specific protocols aimed at preserving the quality and condition of the marine assets while fostering a safe environment for all. This role is suitable for individuals who have an interest or background in the marine industry or who possess the mechanical aptitude and organizational skills necessary to support a fast-paced retail and service environment. While prior experience in the marine sector is a plus, OneWater Marine also welcomes motivated candidates willing to learn and grow within the company. A valid driver’s license and basic familiarity or willingness to learn the operation of equipment like forklifts and boats are prerequisites for success in this position.
This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking stable employment in a specialized retail environment with room for career advancement. OneWater Marine’s commitment to employee development and customer satisfaction makes it an ideal workplace for those passionate about marine vehicles and customer service. The Lot Associate role supports the foundational aspects of the business, enabling seamless transitions from sales to service and delivery. Working closely with other team members, associates help maintain the brand’s reputation for excellence in every facet of its operations.
