The Car Wash Valet position at Longo Lexus is a vital role focused on creating positive first and last impressions for guests by assisting with vehicle movements, maintaining cleanliness, and representing the dealership with professionalism and friendliness. This full-time entry-level role is ideal for energetic, self-motivated individuals who are team players with excellent communication skills and a positive approach. Employees in this position play a key part in enhancing the overall guest experience and can anticipate opportunities for advancement within the dealership, including roles such as Service Consultant, Service Technician, and Sales Consultant, among others. The position offers a competitive base hourly wage of $18.00 and is based entirely on-site at Longo Lexus in El Monte, CA.

  • Minimum of six months customer service experience desired
  • Ability to coordinate activities with other employees
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language
  • Work well with the public
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record

Job Duties

  • Install and remove disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and ID tags in all vehicles brought in for service
  • Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the service parking lot in a neat and organized manner
  • Ensure all vehicles in the service parking lot are secured
  • Assist in moving disabled vehicles in or around the service department
  • Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot
  • Help maintain a professional appearance of the service department
  • Inspect each vehicle for lot damage that may have occurred during the vehicle’s stay in the service department
  • Follow all company safety policies and practices
  • Assist in all other areas of the service department as needed
  • Maintain high ethical standards and a professional appearance at all times
