Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of general work experience
- must have a valid driver’s license
- must have a minimum of 2 years of driving history with a valid driver’s license
- must be 19 years old or older
- ability to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires weighing up to 50 lbs or greater with or without mechanical assistance
- ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb, and balance regularly
- ability to handle hazardous materials wearing protective equipment
- specific vision requirements including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- ability to work in various environments including non-climate-controlled warehouses and customer locations
- ability to work extended hours including evenings, weekends, and possibly night driving in inclement weather
- must not exceed 400 pounds in weight or 6 feet 3 inches in height due to equipment safety requirements
- willingness to adhere to company policies and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of general work experience
- valid driver’s license with minimum of 2 years driving history
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- ability to repeatedly lift, pull, push, and/or move tires up to 50 lbs with or without mechanical assistance
- capable of frequent bending, twisting and lifting
- multitasking skills in fast-paced environments
- ability to accurately and efficiently load, unload, and place tires in warehouse and delivery vehicles
- capability to work up to 35 feet above ground-level
- capability to operate a forklift for up to 8 hours per day
- familiarity with manifest, GPS and navigation systems
- ability to maintain forklift certification
- strong team player and ability to work independently
Job Duties
- Responsible for distribution of tasks including general warehousing, delivery services, vehicle maintenance
- loads, unloads, inspects, and tallies tires to and from transport vehicles
- follows TireHub safety standards with respect to selecting, packing, counting, labeling, and palletizing customer orders
- operates equipment such as forklifts, order pickers and pallet jacks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- conducts and participates in cycle counts, tallies, and labeling as part of regular and annual inventory control procedures
- collects payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions
- ensures vehicles remain clean and in good mechanical/physical condition
- conducts pre/post-trip vehicle inspections daily and immediately reports any operational issues or defects
- completes driver and vehicle maintenance logs regularly
- ensures compliance with all TireHub policies and procedures
- participates in ongoing training through various learning modules
- completes other tasks assigned by supervisor or leadership
