Job Description

Thrive Foods is a leading company in the food manufacturing industry, known for its commitment to quality, food safety, and efficient supply chain operations. As a reputable organization focused on delivering top-tier food products, Thrive Foods continually seeks motivated and skilled professionals to join their team and uphold their high standards. With an emphasis on both workplace safety and operational excellence, Thrive Foods provides a dynamic environment where employees can grow and contribute to the success of the company. The company thrives on integrity, innovation, and teamwork, ensuring each department collaborates effectively to meet customer demands and regulatory requirements.

The Logistics Coordinator (Swing Shift) role at Thrive Foods is a critical position within the Supply Chain department, reporting directly to the Supervisor. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm, playing a vital role in managing the flow of raw materials and supporting procurement activities. The incumbent will be responsible for verifying and maintaining detailed records on incoming and outgoing shipments, thereby ensuring the accuracy of inventory and smooth coordination across various supply chain functions. The role requires close collaboration with different internal departments and external parties to guarantee customer satisfaction and timely delivery.

The Logistics Coordinator will handle receiving offsite and overseas purchase orders and work orders, maintaining effective communication with accounting and other departments to reconcile data accurately, particularly for China work orders. This position contributes administratively to truck receiving and product unloading operations, helping to stock warehouse tools and coordinate release documentation such as Bills of Lading (BOL), packing slips, and FDA releases. The Coordinator will also verify received products offsite and enter them into the ERP system, track inventory using Excel or proprietary systems, and manage returns for rejected raw materials through the Process Pro system.

Another essential aspect of the role involves managing the receiving schedule, reviewing offsite inventory billing, and authorizing invoices. The position demands collaboration with freight forwarding agents and coordination with customer service, logistics, and planning teams to optimize processes. This role occasionally undertakes additional tasks when delegated by the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.

Maintaining Thrive Foods’ stringent food safety, quality, and sanitation standards is a fundamental responsibility tied to the company’s commitment to operational excellence. The Logistics Coordinator will be expected to uphold these standards rigorously by adhering to company policies, reporting incidents, and supporting the Safe Quality Food (SQF) system requirements. Physically, the role demands the ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 30 pounds, prolonged standing, walking, and working in varying temperature conditions commonly found in food manufacturing warehouse settings.

Overall, joining Thrive Foods as a Logistics Coordinator presents an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented, and communicative individual eager to make a significant impact in supply chain coordination while upholding the highest standards in food safety and quality. This role not only offers a stable swing-shift schedule but also fosters professional development within a supportive and innovative work environment.
