Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum three years experience managing hotel type operation
  • Ability to supervise employees
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships
  • Knowledge of NAF policies preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and over 45lbs with assistance

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business hospitality management or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of three years managing hotel or similar lodging operations
  • Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) designation preferred
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) policies and procedures preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and over 45lbs with assistance
  • Excellent customer service and hospitality skills

Job Duties

  • Manage operation of Marine Lodge Five Palms including guest services guest reception desk housekeeping laundry maintenance and grounds maintenance within 50 feet of the facility
  • Conduct weekly inspections of guest rooms and public spaces and document findings with corrective action plans
  • Provide leadership and support to lodging staff including hiring onboarding training and professional development
  • Collaborate with MCCS activities and local hospitality industry to promote services and increase occupancy
  • Develop and implement safety security policies and procedures to protect occupants and property
  • Analyze financial performance and business metrics to optimize operations and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with EEO policies safety sanitation and environmental regulations
