This role specifically involves managing obstetrics (OB) duties with a work schedule including pager call from 7:30 am to 7:30 am. The expected workload ranges from 26 to 30 deliveries per month, focusing primarily on full-scope OB call without scheduled gynecological or surgical duties. The position benefits from an excellent OB staffing team who triage patients thoroughly and provide detailed reports to support clinical decisions. The role also involves daily rounding on patients during first call shifts, as well as responding to emergency room calls for both gynecological and obstetrical patients, including first trimester events. The electronic medical record system used is Epic, facilitating efficient and seamless documentation.
