The Locker Room Attendant plays an essential role within this operation by assisting members in the locker room and contributing to the upkeep and overall appearance of this important area. This position supports the Locker Room Manager and aids in creating an inviting atmosphere where members feel valued and their needs anticipated. Responsibilities include managing locker room keys, maintaining cleanliness, overseeing inventory and billing for merchandise and beverages, and ensuring compliance with club policies, particularly regarding age restrictions in certain areas. The role requires attentiveness, a courteous and willing disposition, and efficient handling of daily operational tasks.
This role is an integral part of the member services team and requires a proactive attitude, keen attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with members and colleagues alike. The Locker Room Attendant must ensure that every aspect of the locker room is managed to the highest standards, including daily tasks such as opening and closing procedures, maintaining the basket room, and managing reservations for sun tanning and courts. Personal service duties such as replacing golf spikes and brushing clothes add to the personalized support members expect. By maintaining these standards and assisting with various activities when needed, the Locker Room Attendant helps uphold the club’s commitment to excellence and member satisfaction. This position is well-suited for individuals who are neat, organized, and able to anticipate and meet the needs of a diverse clientele in a professional setting.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and count proficiently
- Must be neat and possess a courteous, willing disposition
- Ability to anticipate the needs of members
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to follow facility opening and closing procedures
- Must be able to work flexible hours including mornings and evenings
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Assure customer service and high level of standards for members and guests
- Ensure facility is properly opened and closed according to posted times
- Clean and maintain the general appearance of the locker room
- Aid members by handing out keys, baskets, and racquets stored by the club
- Return laundry to correct baskets and maintain basket room in an orderly fashion
- Handle daily inventory and billing of merchandise and beverages
- Take daily sun tanning and court reservations and report daily numbers to department secretary
- Perform personal services such as replacing golf spikes and brushing clothes
- Ensure no underage individuals in restricted areas and report rule violations
- Assist Assistant Director and Locker Room Staff with other activities when asked
