We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Locker Room Attendant to contribute to our dedicated team at a prestigious fitness center located in Midtown Manhattan. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 3 pm to 10:30 pm, ideal for individuals who thrive in evening shift roles. The Locker Room Attendant will play a pivotal role in ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of locker room and restroom areas within the facility, maintaining a welcoming and hygienic environment for all members and guests.

In this role, the Locker Room Attendant is responsible for greeting members and visitors warmly and professionally as they arrive, fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages engagement and satisfaction. The incumbent will maintain high standards of upkeep by cleaning fitness equipment, laundering and folding towels and uniforms, and restocking amenities necessary for member comfort. This role also includes conducting monthly inventories of linens and facilities supplies to ensure seamless operations. The Locker Room Attendant is expected to follow established health and safety protocols rigorously to promote a safe environment for clients and staff.

Candidates who succeed in this role are those who demonstrate professionalism and strong communication skills, capable of interacting with a diverse membership base while collaborating effectively within the team. Experience in housekeeping, maintenance, or related fields is highly valued. The company may require CPR/AED and First Aid certification based on location, providing reimbursement in accordance with company policies to support staff development.
