The Location Manager role at Go Rentals is pivotal to maintaining the company’s high standards and operational excellence. This leadership position heads a diverse and skilled team including Assistant Managers, Guest Service Managers, Lead Guest Service personnel, Drivers, and Car Washer Detailers, among others. The Location Manager carries full responsibility for driving guest service satisfaction, achieving sales targets, and managing the profitability of the assigned location. This role requires strategic leadership to motivate and develop staff, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and maintain superior customer relations within busy Fixed Base Operator (FBO) or hotel settings.
Key responsibilities for this role include recruiting and onboarding new team members, training and coaching staff, managing schedules and performance, and conducting disciplinary actions when necessary. The manager is also responsible for financial planning including budget preparation, forecasting, expenditure scheduling, and analyzing financial variances, all critical to meeting operational objectives. Developing and executing strategic sales plans tailored to the location’s market environment is fundamental, as is expanding the customer base by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with key clients, and representing Go Rentals in various prospecting and networking capacities.
In addition, this role ensures complete compliance with federal, state, and local laws along with company and partner policies, fostering a safe and legally compliant workplace. The Location Manager must be present to oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and business continuity. This position also involves close collaboration with partners and team members, managing field operations, conducting sales calls, and leveraging market intelligence to stay ahead of competitors. Job Requirements
- Must have valid unrestricted driver’s license
- Must have one to two years of driving experience and be insurable
- Must be 21 years of age or older (not Montana or Hawaii)
- 1-2 years of managerial experience
- Experience in sales and customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be able to speak and understand basic English sufficiently to communicate with management, team members, partners, and follow safety protocols
