Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Active MC Operating Authority and DOT number with the FMCSA or willingness to obtain
- Own, rent or lease a 26' box truck with a lift gate
- Have a personal set of tools
- Professional work experience as an appliance installer or a willingness to learn the trade
- Provide a driver helper or two-person delivery team
- Ability to follow manufacturer specifications for appliance installation
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Active MC Operating Authority and DOT number with FMCSA or willingness to obtain
- Ownership, rental, or lease of a 26' box truck with liftgate
- Personal set of basic installation tools
- Professional experience as an appliance installer or willingness to learn
- Ability to operate safely and responsibly
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Timely and accurate delivery including installation of appliances
- Select and use basic tools to assemble, adjust, and install various appliances
- Follow complex installation instructions as per manufacturer specifications to complete installation of refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, laundry appliances
- Maneuver items with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person
- Provide a two-person delivery team
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during delivery and installation
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and installations
