This job opportunity is open for Non-CDL Independent Contractors who own, rent, or lease a 26-foot box truck with a liftgate and ideally operate with a driver helper. The role primarily focuses on the delivery and basic installation of large home appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwave ovens, and stoves. The position offers a gross weekly earning potential ranging from $3,500 to $3,750 per truck, paid weekly with direct deposit to independent contractors who fulfill their delivery routes efficiently.

As an Owner Operator or Independent Service Provider driving team with Hub Group Final Mile, you will be responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience by managing the last leg of the delivery journey. This involves the careful handling and installation of appliances at customers' residences, adhering closely to manufacturer installation instructions to guarantee product functionality. The role requires the physical capability to maneuver heavy appliances using proper equipment and a teamwork approach requiring two-person delivery teams. Expert knowledge or a willingness to quickly learn appliance installation skills will be valuable in providing high-quality service.

Contractors are required to have an active MC Operating Authority and DOT number registered with the FMCSA or be willing to obtain these credentials, ensuring full compliance with transportation regulations. In addition to owning or leasing the correct vehicle, you must maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Possession of a personal set of tools and demonstrated professional work experience as an appliance installer, or a strong desire to learn this trade, is essential to succeed in this role.
