Hub Group Final Mile is currently seeking non-CDL independent contractors for an Owner Operator/Independent Service Provider Driving Team role. This opportunity is specifically designed for individuals or teams who have access to a 26-foot box truck with a liftgate and who ideally have a driver helper. The position is home-daily with local deliveries, offering attractive weekly gross earnings ranging from $2,500 to over $4,000 per truck depending on location. In this role, contractors will be responsible for the delivery and basic installation of household appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, washers, dryers, and other related appliances. The job requires not only timely and accurate delivery but also the capability to perform basic appliance assembly and installations following manufacturer’s instructions and safety standards. An essential aspect is the ability to work effectively as part of a two-person team, facilitating the moving and positioning of heavy or bulky items using appropriate equipment and safety protocols.

Contractors must have or be willing to obtain an MC Operating Authority and DOT number with the FMCSA, demonstrating compliance with regulatory standards. The job requires a valid driver's license with a good driving record, ownership or legal lease of a suitable truck, and a personal set of tools to complete installations. While prior professional experience as an appliance installer is preferred, the company also welcomes contractors with a strong willingness to learn the trade.
