At the Dayton Facility, Home City Ice is excited to announce openings for Ice Delivery Drivers. These positions accommodate seasonal, part-time, and full-time employment types, making them accessible for a variety of candidates with differing availability. The role offers competitive pay ranging from $17 to $25 or more per hour, contingent on performance, alongside commission bonuses designed to reward motivated employees. One unique aspect of this opportunity is that a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) B is not required upon hire. Instead, Home City Ice will pay for and provide training for employees to obtain their CDL B license while working. This shows the company’s investment in employee development and career growth.

The Ice Delivery Driver position involves delivering ice to a diverse set of local businesses, averaging about 14 deliveries per day. Drivers are responsible not only for safe and timely delivery but also for invoicing and maintaining clear communication and interaction with customers.
