Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must live in or near the event area
  • Prior experience in event support, customer service, or team coordination preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • Basic problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Complete availability on event weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn with a team-oriented mindset

Job Duties

  • Assist with setup, execution, and teardown of event activities including lantern distribution, guest check-in, and site preparation
  • Help manage and direct local staff and volunteers ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule
  • Provide friendly, professional assistance to attendees answering questions and resolving minor issues
  • Support the Event Coordinator with inventory checks, equipment handling, and other operational needs
  • Work closely with the core team to maintain a positive, organized environment and ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly
  • Engage in training sessions to learn event management skills with potential to advance to the Event Coordinator role
