Job Requirements
- deep connections to the local cultural scene
- 3-5 years of relevant event production and promotion experience
- experience in selling sponsorships or marketing partnerships
- excellent communication and time management skills
- ability to work autonomously and take ownership
- confident pitching and closing partnerships
- understanding of local audience preferences and community building
- based in the designated city
- availability primarily during evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in live event curation, production, and promotion
- proven success in selling event sponsorships or marketing activations
- strong understanding of local cultural and neighborhood dynamics
- excellent relationship-building skills with community organizations and business partners
- ability to pitch and close sponsorship deals effectively
- exceptional time management and communication skills
- ability to work independently while coordinating with a global team
Job Duties
- strengthen Sofar’s brand in your local community by promoting and selling tickets
- create a strategic vision for your city’s shows including frequency, neighborhoods, and themes
- lead curation and booking of diverse artists and venues
- manage staffing and ensure quality hospitality at events
- oversee financial performance of events
- build relationships with local businesses to drive sponsorship and private events sales
- cultivate partnerships with local organizations to expand audience and promote shows
- collaborate with other local Producers to enhance city-wide cultural experiences
- support global teams with high-quality event execution for partnership opportunities
