TForce Freight is currently looking to expand its team by hiring a Local Driver who will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of freight delivery. This position is ideal for an individual who is motivated by safety, efficiency, and outstanding customer service. The Local Driver will be responsible for the safe operation of a tractor and trailer, guaranteeing that freight is transported and delivered accurately and on schedule to TForce Freight’s valued customers. Beyond driving duties, this role requires an individual who can represent the company positively, embodying professionalism and a helpful attitude in every customer interaction. This opportunity offers a competitive pay rate of $35.30 per hour, with overtime pay applicable after eight hours. In addition, new hires will receive a $3,000 signing bonus and benefit from a company-paid pension plan, nine paid company holidays, and affordable family medical plans, with free individual medical plans also available.

Day-to-day responsibilities include operating commercial vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring proper loading and securing of cargo, providing prompt and courteous service to customers, completing necessary pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and complying with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
