The Local Driver duties encompass performing thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, securing cargo properly, and maintaining accurate logs of travel and cargo conditions. These responsibilities are essential in ensuring freight safety and operational efficiency. Strong communication skills are key, as the driver must collaborate effectively with dispatch and management teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during transportation. This role is ideal for candidates who are not only skilled drivers but also embody a customer-centric approach, acting as the face of TForce Freight during all deliveries.
