As a Local Driver at TForce Freight, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of commercial vehicles, ensuring all cargo is properly loaded and secured before transportation. Your role will also encompass conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate logs related to driving hours and cargo conditions, and complying with all federal, state, and local safety regulations. You will be expected to provide exceptional customer service, acting as the company’s ambassador during deliveries and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. This position requires strong time management capabilities and an ability to communicate effectively with the dispatch management team about schedules and any transportation issues that may arise.
