This role requires a detail-oriented professional responsible for ensuring freight is accurately loaded, secured, and delivered on time. The Local Driver is the face of TForce Freight in the community and must embody professionalism, friendly customer service, and reliability at every stage of the delivery journey. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining TForce Freight’s reputation for outstanding logistics service and customer satisfaction.

In this role, the driver conducts essential pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and maintenance requirements, interacts regularly with dispatch teams for scheduling and communications, and strictly adheres to all local, state, and federal transportation and safety regulations. The ideal candidate is expected to maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and cargo conditions in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) standards. TForce Freight also requires that applicants provide a complete 10-year employment history to comply with federal regulations.

Overall, the Local Driver position at TForce Freight is more than just a driving job; it is a career path that combines operational responsibility, customer interaction, and adherence to regulatory standards within a respected and steadily growing company. Employees benefit from extensive training, professional support, and the opportunity to contribute to a company that values integrity, safety, and customer service excellence. If you possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), endorsements such as Hazmat, tanker, and doubles, along with strong communication and organizational skills, this role offers a chance to advance your career in the freight transportation industry with a company committed to your success and well-being.
