This job opening is for a Local Driver position, a vital role within TForce Freight’s dynamic and expanding logistics team. Local Drivers will be responsible for the safe operation of commercial vehicles, specifically tractors and trailers, to transport goods securely and efficiently to customers. Job Requirements
- Valid class A commercial driver’s license
- Hazmat, tanker and doubles endorsements
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Meet all DOT requirements
- Meet all company requirements
- Ability to perform essential job functions safely
- Proficient in English
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Job Qualifications
- Impeccable customer service and dedication
- Valid class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) in resident state
- Hazmat, tanker and doubles endorsements
- 21 years of age

- Perform essential job functions without obvious risk of injury to self or co-workers
- Able to read, write and speak the English language

Job Duties
- Operate a commercial vehicle transporting goods to various locations safely and efficiently
- Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly before departure
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and handling any customer inquiries or concerns
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance needs
- Adhere to all local, state and federal transportation regulations and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate logs for driving hours, routes traveled and cargo conditions
- Communicate with the dispatch management team regarding schedules, delays and any issues that may arise during transportation
