The Delivery Driver role at Edward Don & Company is an essential position that focuses on the timely and accurate delivery of merchandise to customers following a predetermined route. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday with shifts approximately 9 to 11 hours long. Start times vary between 5:45 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., with end times between 2:15 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. The position offers a competitive starting wage of $21.73 per hour, with potential increases up to $0.50 every six months over a three-year period. Safety is a top priority in this role, and candidates must maintain current DOT Medical Certification and comply with all DOT regulations. The physical demands include lifting between 60 to 100 pounds during loading and unloading at 15 to 30 stops daily and performing activities like bending, stooping, climbing, and twisting.
