The Delivery Driver role at PepsiCo is an essential position within the company's supply chain and distribution network. This position primarily involves delivering products to a wide variety of customers, including those in the foodservice sector. In this role, the driver is responsible for safely operating a small commercial motor vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating of more than 10,000 pounds but less than 26,000 pounds, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products. The driver also manages the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles using electronic pallet jacks or two-wheel hand trucks while adhering to safety standards throughout the process.

In addition to driving and delivery tasks, this role entails merchandising duties such as stocking shelves, rotating product inventory to maintain freshness, building small displays, and setting up promotional materials including banners and pricing signs. The position requires constant interaction with store management and receiving personnel to confirm the acceptance of deliveries and to maintain a positive relationship with each account. Given the physical nature of the work, which involves frequent lifting of cases weighing from 20 to 45 pounds and occasional exertion requiring 40 to 150 pounds of force, candidates should be prepared for the physical demands of the job, including squatting, bending, and reaching during merchandising tasks.

This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $27.45 and operates primarily during day shifts.
