Job Requirements
- must be at least 21 years or older
- valid Texas Class A commercial driver's license
- valid medical examiner's card
- Hazmat and airbrake certifications
- at least one year of Class A professional driving experience within the last five years or diploma from an accredited driving school with at least one year of prior driving experience
- clean driving record with no more than two convictions or two at-fault accidents in the last three years
- ability to routinely lift 25 to 75 pounds and occasionally lift over 125 pounds with aid
- ability to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours
- ability to work independently and under pressure
- must be able to obtain forklift operator certification
Job Qualifications

- ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets
- ability to lift 25 to 75 pounds routinely and occasionally over 125 pounds with material handling equipment

- ability to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines
- ability to obtain forklift operator certification
Job Duties
- safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to both external and internal customer locations
- accurately record deliveries and pick-ups on a load manifest, obtaining customer signatures for receipt
- collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling
- adhere to all Airgas safety standards and government regulations including DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA
- provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed
