The role of Local Delivery Driver at Airgas is integral to the smooth operation of its supply chain within the Los Angeles, California area. Job Requirements

  • Valid Class A or B CDL license with Hazmat and airbrake endorsements
  • Current Hazmat certification is mandatory
  • Clean driving record with limited traffic convictions or at-fault accidents
  • Ability to regularly lift 75 pounds and move over 125 pounds with equipment
  • At least one year of CDL driving experience in the last five years or recent trucking school certification
  • Compliance with drug-free workplace policies
  • Ability to work safely in various delivery conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL or B CDL with Hazmat and airbrake endorsements
  • Hazmat certification is required
  • Maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card and endorsements
  • No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in the last three years or a combination thereof
  • No driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances within the last seven years
  • Able to work in a drug-free environment
  • Must have at least one year of CDL driving experience within the last five years or proof of recent trucking school completion
  • Forklift experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
